Cooper Tire & Rubber Company Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of the Cooper Tire & Rubber Company of Findlay, Ohio, USA, has more than a century’s experience at the leading edge of tyre technology. Cooper produces a full range of tyres for passenger car, 4×4 applications and Motorsport under the Cooper and Avon brand names, together with Avon motorcycle tyres.
The company employs 13,000 people worldwide and has manufacturing facilities in the USA, UK, Mexico and China. The competition tyre department, Avon Tyres Motorsport is based at its European headquarters in Melksham which employs 850 people.

New for 2011 Cooper Tire will provide control tyres to the SPEED EuroSeries, this demonstrates the company’s support for the series which is the world’s premier academy for the top level Sports Car talent of the future.
