Italian race preparation team CMS has vehicles available for SPEED EuroSeries events in 2013 including a brand new design, the Lobart La-02.

New Sport Prototype LOBART/ CMS La-02 Honda Version CN

Team CMS Racing Cars has, in association with the engineer Lo Bartolo, designed and built a new Prototype Version La-02 complete with carbon chassis 2013 and homologated by the FIA.

The car is available in Italian version or SPEED EuroSeries spec.

It will have Honda engine last version Mugen FD-2 Jap with management ecu EFI-Technology Euro4.

Gearbox: Hewland FTR-S – very light and easy to use.

Braking system:  Brembo Oro.

SPEED EuroSeries race winners, Pegasus Racing, will enter the 2013 SPEED EuroSeries with the teams lead car and is looking for drivers with a second car seeking a winning outfit to prepare and run them at events this year.

The Pegasus cars will run with number 25 and 26 this season and team principal, Julien Schell – who won with Fred Makowiecki in the wet at Spa Francorchamps in 2012 – is looking forward to the season ahead.

Oreca, the manufacture behind the Formula Le Mans cars and the ORECA 03 LMP car, has revealed its radical new design for a CN sports prototype car, eligible for the SPEED EuroSeries in 2013.

The car, which will be unique in the CN arena with its closed-cockpit design, will be made available in a limited quantity for the first year as the manufacturer develops its  quality, performance, reliability and innovation in the category.

Hugues de Chaunac, from Oreca: “Our design and study department worked on this project, relying on CFD tools (digital wind tunnel testing) and structural calculations at our disposal. Innovation is part of our DNA and it was logical for us to go in this direction. Our goal is to offer a package that is competitive and attractive, while respecting the spirit of the particular discipline. Having dominated the opening rounds of the 2012 SPEED EuroSeries Championship, the Avelon racing team, manufacturers of the Wolf chassis, are offering the race winning car for sale with potential buyers able to collect the car direct from parc ferme at the next event.

The Italian outfit team director, Maurizio Bellarosa:

“A buyer may collect the car direct from parc ferme so that they can have the car in the set-up exactly as it is to race for themselves. Ivan [Bellarosa] will then drive the chassis he raced in 2011 for the remainder of the season or until we build another new chassis for him. We are committed to the SPEED EuroSeries and wish to demonstrate that our cars are race winners on an equal footing with other cars.”
